Guide
Prices:
We charge £50 for the first hour, this is often enough
time to repair many items. The subsequent hours (or
fractions thereof) are charged at £30. Quotes can be given
during the first hour as soon as the fault is identified.
Electrical safety testing (PAT) from £5.
-
Turnaround:
Items are repaired chronologically from when they are
booked in. This usually means 2 to 3 weeks. Although we
will make every effort to return items sooner if required.
What
to do...
-
Bring your item to Antech
Systems.
See the 'contact' page for an area map and other relevant details.
Offsite visits can be arranged but will incur an extra
charge based on locality.
-
We
will take your name, address and contact number when the
unit is dropped off.
If the repair is going to take longer or require any costly parts you will be consulted before we proceed.
-
We
may ask for a bench charge if we feel the unit has a particularly
low chance of survival.
This charge will be set against the total bill if the unit is repaired successfully.
-
We will issue a service report which will act as a receipt
and guarantee (3 months).
Retention of service information can increase the re-sale value of your item and improve buyer confidence.
-
Total
payment is made when the item is picked up, unless other
arrangements have been made.
Payment can be made in cash, online by bacs or similar or by cheque with a guarantee card,
we currently do not accept plastic.
Further
Information :
-
Repairs
are guaranteed for work done for 3 months.
-
P.A.T.
Testing Charge £5 - If the unit doesn't pass a
repair charge may be additional.
-
If
a unit is not picked up as previously agreed then, after
fair warning and a period of three months, it will become
the property of Antech Systems and we reserve the right to
sell it to reclaim our costs.
-
If
a unit is deemed to be irreparable through requiring obsolete
components or being beyond economical repair a small charge will
usually be
made.
-
If
we believe the unit is repairable but we have been unable to
repair it successfully no charge will be made.
